In their teens, A.O. and B.steady shared the stage as vocalists in a jazz band, falling in love with the nuances of the jazz standard. Through college, the bois independently fostered their passions for music and upon their return to DC in the summer of '09, A.O. and B.Steady reunited with a fierce determination to challenge the sexist, racist, and homophobic hot-mess that is mainstream music.
